Perfect Pear
Designer Statement:
The brand I created is called Perfect Pear. My idea was to create a women’s underwear brand that takes the phrase, “a pair of underwear,” literally. Each pair of underwear is reversible, which provides two options. The underwear is made from a combination of hemp and organic cotton. The main focus of this brand is sustainability and comfort. The packaging design for the underwear is made out of corrugated cardboard made up of 90% recycled post-consumer products. The graphics, along with text used on the packaging are printed with vegetable-based inks that have less of an environmental impact.
